SPECIAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

PRESENT: President Carol Smith, Secretary Kevin Lum, Treasurer Steve Loring, and Directors Carolyn Ancheta and John Riggins.

EXCUSED: Vice President Gregory Peterson, Directors Marlene Lemke, Jennifer Curtis, and Stephen Enomoto.

GUESTS: Attorney Anne Anderson, General Manager Warren Wegesend, Office Manager Claire Loo-Hoy, Covenants Specialist Kim Kaoihana, and Design Review Committee Members, Bill Petti, Joe LaCalamito, and Stan Texeira.

I CALL TO ORDER

There being a quorum present, President Smith called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m.

II NEW BUSINESS

Design Review Committee Rules - Mr. Bill Petti presented the new proposed committee rules.

Director Lum motioned, and it was seconded, to defer approval of the Design Review Committee Rules pending review of the red-line version, to be received in time for consideration at the December 2000 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.

It was the consensus of the Board that Ms. Anne Anderson be given authority to make changes for the red-line version and to provide the board with a resolution on visibility of items above the fence line.

Landscape Design Guidelines - Mr. Bill Petti presented the new proposed guidelines.

Director Lum motioned, and it was seconded, to defer approval of the Design Review Committee Landscape Design Guidelines pending review of the red-line version, to be received in time for consideration at the December 2000 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, President Smith adjourned the meeting at 8:35 p.m.
